I am so excited to announce that I will start work at the Council for Economic Education. The Council for Economic Education’s (CEE) is the leading non-profit organization in the United States that focuses on personal finance and economic education for students K-12. By providing kids with the knowledge and vocabulary of money, they give them the essential tools to create financial stability and opportunity for themselves, their families and their communities. They have been doing so for nearly 70 years.
Starting on August 1st, I will be the new Director, Educational Technology. As Director, Educational Technology I will be “the thought leader who can successfully identify the appropriate e-learning strategies to enhance the educational experience for K-12 students and teachers.” My main responsibilities will be to manage and guide the improvement of EconEdLink‘s UI/UX experience and work with top education technology companies to develop high quality products to reach millions of students.
I am beyond excited to help drive CEE’s mission by working with teachers and students, program managers, CEE leadership, IT, CEE directors, vendors, and affiliates across the nation to enhance the various programs offered by CEE such as National Economics Challenge, Program for Hispanic Students and Their Families, Never Too Young: Personal Finance for K-5 Learners, and EconEdLink.
I’m super excited to get started and look forward to making an impact in education!
